BMW Winter Driving Experience 2023

Golsfjellet
Together with Rudskogen, BMW Group Norge welcomes you to a fast-paced and exciting event at Golsfjellet in winter 2023. In weeks 5 and 6 we are running courses in advanced driving technique, giving you valuable driving practice on snow and ice. As a participant, you can look forward to an event that is instructive, sociable and entertaining.
The event runs over two days. We divide the participants into 6 groups, which rotate through the different exercises throughout the day. We can take groups of up to 30 people.

Theory and skills exercises
On the ice
The ice track at Tisleia has been prepared and cleared by IceDrive, and is specially designed for our activities with large, safe run-off areas. Throughout the exercises, participants practise handling difficult situations that can arise on snow and ice. They also get to test the cars' electronic driver assistance systems, all under the guidance of OnTrack Event's skilled instructors.
Handling track and high-speed laps
On a closed track, participants try out their skills with an instructor in the passenger seat. For this activity we offer two separate tracks to get more out of the exercise. You will also get a passenger ride with a racing driver on an almost 4 km long ice track in one of our M cars.
This is an experience you won't forget in a hurry!
Off-road driving
You will drive an off-road course where getting through loose snow and uneven terrain is the focus.
Instructors
OnTrack Event provides skilled instructors with long experience from both racing and road safety, and all of them have taken part in BMW Winter Driving Experience in recent years.
Christian Lauenborg from OnTrack Event has overall responsibility for our events at Golsfjellet and Rudskogen. He has more than 20 years of experience from this and similar events.
